Hi! I’m Nicole Brown, LMFT
I’m originally from the Philadelphia area and have been a therapist for ten years, serving individuals, couples and families across three cities. I live with my husband, young daughter and a loyal, rambunctious rescue puppy and we are proud to call the Pacific Northwest home.
I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in medical family therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, and I trained at the Council for Relationships in Philadelphia, one of the oldest couples counseling agencies in the United States. I went on to serve vulnerable children and families in Boston at The Home for Little Wanderers, where I honed my skills as a trauma-informed therapist.
I founded Emerald City Sanctuary after moving to Seattle in 2017. Here, I support my clients in trauma processing, mental health symptom management, and relationship assessment and intervention from a systemic perspective. I see individuals, couples and families in my Phinney Ridge office and/or online.
I am licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the State of Washington (LF60795825) and Massachusetts (1685), and a Professional Member of AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy).
